I build the thing and I make sure it gets found. I made Lumi as an experiment halfway through my degree: I posted twice, it went to a million views, and I parked it to finish my studies. Eight months later people are still writing in it every day.

My name is Mikel, I am 22 and I live in Barcelona. I studied Interactive Communication at the UAB and my final degree project, on SEO and generative search, was graded 10 out of 10 with honours.
I have been building product for five years: I design the interface, write the code, build the site, shoot the video and publish it. Some things worked and some did not, and both taught me the same thing: the problem is almost never the product, it is that nobody knows it exists.
That is why what I do now sits right on that line: build the thing, and make sure it gets found.

A journal that does not ask for an account, does not show you ads and does not send anything to any server of mine. You write, you pick how you feel, and that is it. I designed it, coded it and shipped it myself.
